The first annual Nepali-American Spine Symposium will be held at Hotel Yak and Yeti in Kathmandu, Nepal on March 20-21, 2010. Faculty will come from the US and India to participate. Topics will include review of spinal function, disorders and disease, application of innovative methods of assessment and management of various spine problems, evaluation of existing therapies in Nepal to enhance treatment decision making, and development of new approaches in correction of deformity, stabilization, fusion and fixation that conform to the realities and constraints of a resource scarce environment.
